From September 01, 2023, changes in the procedure for conducting medical examinations before, during and after a workday (shift) come into force. Namely, starting from September, employers will be granted the right to conduct such examinations remotely – using medical devices that provide automated remote transmission of information about the health status of employees and remote monitoring of their health status.

Starting from November 19, 2022, the list of exceptional grounds for conducting an unscheduled audit of the company in 2022 will be expanded. It will also include cases of large-scale non-payment of salaries to employees for more than one month.

Starting from November 4, 2022, a new ground for employment termination has been added to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation – the employer's conscription for military service on mobilization. This ground is included in Article 83 of the Labor Code, which provides for cases of termination of an employment contract by reason of circumstances which are beyond the parties' control.

Current legislation contains certain requirements that employers should oblige with during mobilization process.

Partial mobilization, introduced in Russia from 21 September 2022, raises many questions. Consequently, state bodies issue additional acts and clarifications, including those that cover employment relations.
