Key Changes to Migration Regulations in Russia in June 2026

June 2026 brought significant changes to Russian migration regulations: new notification forms for employing foreign workers have been approved, state fees for residence permits, temporary residence permits, citizenship applications, and entry invitations have been increased, and requirements for criminal record certificates have been tightened. Changes to the Labor Code: New Benefits for Part-Time Employees upon Termination from Their Main Job

On August 11, 2025, amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the "LC of the RF") entered into force. These amendments concern the provision of guarantees to part-time employees upon termination of an employment contract with them at their primary place of work due to the liquidation of the organization or redundancy or staff cuts at the organization.
