Legal Digest: Employee’s Bonus (in Russian)

Effective September 1, 2025, amendments to Article 135 of the Russian Labor Code will come into force: employers will no longer be able to reduce an employee’s bonus by more than 20% of their monthly salary as a result of a disciplinary action.

Changes to the Labor Code: New Benefits for Part-Time Employees upon Termination from Their Main Job

On August 11, 2025, amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the "LC of the RF") entered into force. These amendments concern the provision of guarantees to part-time employees upon termination of an employment contract with them at their primary place of work due to the liquidation of the organization or redundancy or staff cuts at the organization.

Shapka.


Mentoring Will Be Paid as from 1 March 2025

On 9 November 2024 the Federal Law No. 381-FZ “On Amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation” was published. Amendments introduce Article 3518 to the chapter regulating the work of other categories of employees (hereinafter referred to as the “Article”). The Article regulates the mentoring in labor relations. The regulation will enter into force on 1 March 2025.
