Presidential Decree of the 1st of May 2022 No. 250 “On additional measures of providing information security in Russia” (the Decree) introduced new requirements for the information security of Russian resources.

On April 26, 2022 the Federation Council approved a law amending Article 16 of the Law of the Russian Federation of February 7, 1992 № 2300-I “On Protection of Consumer Rights”, which prohibits sellers, performers, owners of aggregators to refuse a consumer in contract, execution, modification or termination due to the refusal of the consumer to provide personal data.

On 8 March 2022, Federal Law No. 46 “On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation” entered into full force and effect, suggesting considerable changes in regulations and intellectual property in the pharmaceutical sphere.

The Russian Government brought a draft law “On amendments to the Part IV o the Russian Civil Code” to the State Duma. 

A Government Resolution has been adopted establishing rules for resolving disputes over deleted content during monitoring.

Lawyers of the Lidings Intellectual Property practice have successfully represented interests of the Russian "Miloserdie" (eng.:Mercy) aid service in a trademark protection case. The work was done pro bono.
