Electronic document management in the area of labour relations is not new and has been actively used by companies for years already.

The Supreme Court provided clarifications on why during the moratorium on bankruptcy, the penalty cannot be paid even in disputes with consumers, in which cases the software update entails the seller's obligation to compensate the cost of the goods and why even a resident of the apartment is considered a consumer.

Ministry of Industry and Trade prepared a draft on amending the Regulations of the Russian Government No. 1289 of 30 November 2015. Under the draft the drugs from the List of Strategically Important Drugs produced in a foreign country shall be rejected to supply by the customer if there is at least one offer to supply a drug produced (all manufacturing stages) exclusively in the territory of the Eurasian Union member states.

On 28 October 2021, the Russian Constitutional Court passed a decision in which it examined Art. 110 para. 1 of the Russian Commercial (Arbitrazh) Procedure Code for compliance with the Constitution and clarified when right holders shall not reimburse legal costs to a defendant if the court reduced the compensation.
