On May 26, Moscow will host the XVII Antitrust Forum — the flagship event in Russian competition law. The forum is traditionally held with the support of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS Russia) and the Association of Antimonopoly Experts (AAE). This year’s main theme is competition in the digital economy.

Lidings is an official partner of the forum and is organising a special session: “Pharmaceuticals & Antitrust: The Fight for Fair Competition Amid Economic Challenges.”

April 9^th,2026 annual conference Pharmaceuticals – 2026: Legal Issues will take place in Moscow organized by Pravo.ru. Lidings lawyers take an active part in the event’s program.

On January 16, 2026, as part of the Lidings Global – Indian Desk project, the expert webinar "Opportunities for Indian Medical Device Manufacturers in the Russian Market" took place. The event was organized by Lidings in cooperation with the Association of Indian Manufacturers of Medical Devices (AiMeD) and the LexCounsel Law Offices. The webinar was designed exclusively for AiMeD member companies, targeting senior management, specialists from manufacturing firms, and industry experts.

On 4 December 2025 the results of the annual Pravo-300 law firms’ ranking were announced at an awarding ceremony at The Carlton Hotel in Moscow. This year Lidings expertise is highly praised in 17 key practice areas.

On August 7, 2025, a draft law “On Amending the Federal Law ‘On Protection of Competition’” (hereinafter, the “Draft Law”) was published. Prepared by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (hereinafter, the “FAS”), it aims to significantly narrow the scope of antitrust immunities concerning the results of intellectual activity.

On July 11, 2025, a joint letter from the FAS and the Ministry of Health № ТН/61566/25, № 25-7/И/2-13136 dated July 2, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the "Joint Letter") was published, clarifying the procedure for determining the initial (maximum) contract price (IMCP) in the procurement of pharmaceuticals.

On May 14, 2025, the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation № 608 dated 08.05.2025 (hereinafter - “Resolution”) was published on the Official Portal of Legal Information. It establishes the threshold values of the assets of financial organizations supervised by the Bank of Russia; exceeding these amounts, organizations shall obtain the prior consent of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (hereinafter - “FAS of Russia”) is required.

On 26.12.2024, Federal Law No. 479-FZ was signed, which provides for the obligation for advertising distributors and advertising system operators who distribute advertising in the Internet, aimed at attracting the attention of advertising consumers located in the territory of the Russian Federation, mandatory contributions to the federal budget in the amount of 3% of the amount of income received during the quarter from the sale of services for the distribution of advertising on the ‘Internet’. Quarters are counted from the beginning of the calendar year.
