On February 17, 2026, the annual flagship seminar of Lidings, "Predictions 2026: Crystal Clarity Instead of Legal Fog," was held at the Hotel Metropol.

The event marked the beginning of a series of celebrations dedicated to the firm's 20th anniversary and brought together over 70 representatives from 50 Russian and international companies.

Lidings' lawyers together with invited speakers from the corporate sector discussed key legislative changes and shared current trends and practical tools.

As part of the Lidings Global project and following its series of events focused on the Middle East, Lidings will run a seminar Future of Enforcement of Foreign Award: Russia, CIS, and the Middle East in collaboration with ALC Lawyers ALC Lawyers and Counsels, a leading Omani law firm.

The event will take place on July 22, 2025, at the Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre (OCAC) in Muscat.

On 1 April 2025, the President of the Russian Federation signed Federal Law No. 49-FZ dated 01.04.2025 “On Amending the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation” (hereinafter referred to as the “Law”).

The key amendments concern the procedure for reinstating missed procedural deadlines, including those for filing appeals, and the procedure for accepting appeals for consideration.

Bankruptcy Law has gone through many changes over the past summer, but perhaps the hottest of them all was published on 29.5.2024 and applies to petitions filed after the date, regardless of the date of the procedure used in the bankruptcy case. We propose to familiarize ourselves with the most significant of them.

On September 8, new state fees came into force for applications by legal entities and individuals to arbitration courts and courts of general jurisdiction. The new procedure applies to any applications and complaints filed with the court from September 9, 2024.
