Lidings Managing Partner Andrey Zelenin and Partner Stepan Guzey will take part in the Russian Law Week 2018 in London on November 12-14.
The event is hosted by the Bar Council of England and Wales in partnership with the Federal Chamber of Lawyers of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Chamber of Advocates, the St Petersburg Chamber of Advocates, the British Russian Law Association, and the Anglo-Russian Law Association. Lidings traditionally provides support acting as the event’s sponsor.
Leading Russian and UK legal experts — judges, scholars and practicing lawyers will gather together to discuss current trends in legal services in Russia and England and Wales.
The event’s panel of moderators and speakers feature the leading Russian and UK lawyers. Being active participants of the event for many years Lidings’ Managing Partner Andrey Zelenin and the firm’s Partner Stepan Guzey will each take part in the key sessions on 12 and 13 of November.
Stepan, a highly qualified litigator who’s expertise within Lidings is focuses on bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings will moderate a session dedicated to Changes in the Regulation of Bankruptcy scheduled on November 12th.
Andrey, as the Lidings’ founding partner having great experience in law firm management, will take part in a panel discussion dedicated to soft skills for lawyers — what characteristics will distinguish the best lawyers of the future, contributing his own insight and sharing practical observations.
Russian Law Week is held in London for the fifth time and is in rotation with the English Law Week in Moscow and St.Petersburg, gathering key Russian and UK legal experts and providing a great platform to promote business links between the two countries.
