Lidings supports the first ever The Legal 500 GC Summit in Russia — a legal summit organized by the leading international legal rating agency The Legal 500 for corporate lawyers of the large Russian and international companies operating in the country.
The event is to take place in Moscow on April 11th 2019 at Metropol Hotel.
The Legal 500 GC will gather Russia’s leading in-house general counsels — representatives of the banking sphere, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals companies, retailers, automotive enterprises and lawyers from the prominent consulting companies, providing legal support to business in Russian.
Lidings jointly with colleagues from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, Reed Smith and KPMG co-hosting the event plan to run a number of discussion sessions on the relevant regulatory and business issues facing in-house advisers today. Among topics for discussion: compliance around anti-bribery and corruption; dispute resolution; data protection and cyber security challenges and other key issues.
During the event Lidings will feature a Fireside chat session, a special one-on-one discussion led by the firm’s Managing Partner Andrey Zelenin with invited guest speaker Alexey Zavalev, the Vice President, General Counsel & Compliance of the Ford Sollers company in Russia. The experts will in a form of a live dialogue talk about current challenges for legal profession in Russia and globally from both in-house and external counsel perspective. In particular they will touch upon issues of managing legal team, professional and personal development, new legal technology solutions, as well as leadership and new roles imposed from business and clients and many other burning issues for the industry.
