Lidings Supports Eastern European Dispute Resolution Forum in Minsk

Lidings supports Eastern European Dispute Resolution Forum (EEDRF) and a special ICC Training organized by the ICC International Court of Arbitration as one of the Forum’s activity. The Forum will traditionally take place in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus, on 19-20 of September 2019 becoming the fourth in a row. Partner of the dispute resolution practice at Lidings Stepan Guzey will represent the Firm actively participating in the event’s agenda as an expert on Russian law.

The Forum is designed to bring together the leading international and dispute resolution experts to discuss the most relevant trends and practices currently evolving in the sphere of dispute resolution in the CIS and Eastern Europe. This year’s meeting will be structured around “Procedural issues in International Arbitration and State Courts”.

The first day of the event, September 19th, will feature a special ICC Training on the topic “The conduct of the proceedings and case management. The arbitrator’s perspective” organized by the ICC International Court of Arbitration. Lidings’ Dispute Resolution practice Partner Stepan Guzey, a well-recognized Russian dispute resolution and international arbitration specialist, will close the Training with expert concluding remarks. On the second day of the Forum, September 20th, Stepan will also deliver a presentation on “Enforcement of Arbitral Awards and Court Judgments Against State Entities”.
