Lidings law firm conducted an educational program course at the law faculty of the Moscow State University within Masters’ School, a faculty’s special project for students. The course ran from February 17th to March 11th and included a series of special workshops dedicated to specifics of working in particular industrial spheres: pharmaceuticals, information technology, automotive and FMCG. Each industrial sector was covered by one lecture and one practical lesson enhanced by a Case Study. At the end of the course students completed the test assignment and were presented with certificates of successful completion of classes.
The course was designed for law students to obtain necessary knowledge of each particular industry’s regulating specifics, key representatives and regulating bodies, dispute resolution techniques and general understanding of a lawyer’s role as a manager of the company’s business processes.
Lessons were delivered by Lidings’ Partners Sergey Patrakeev and Sergey Kislov with Andrey Zelenin supervising the course. “When developing a concept of these workshops we aimed at helping students to develop relevant skills of working with regulatory and legal documents, skills to analyze business processes and react to the client’s requests properly. We hope that we were successful and that future young specialist will be able to apply the received knowledge in their practice effectively”, - comments Andrey.
