Lidings’ partner has read a lecture for students of the Moscow State University

Lidings’ partner Andrey Zelenin spoke to the Moscow State University’s student scientific association on the topic of «Preparing legal opinions and due diligence reports».

In the first part of his speech Mr. Zelenin spoke about various kinds of legal documents, about their 3D-structure: description, discussion and decision. Andrey in detail dwelled on constituents and principles of each part. Separate elements of the structure – assumptions and limitations – were mentioned as well. In addition Andrey Zelenin taught the students how to prepare legal "consulting" documents correctly, and what the verification process consists of.

In the second part of his speech Andrey Zelenin dwelled with much detail on Due Diligence as the element of M&A procedure, and explained what actually Due Diligence is; spoke about different kinds of transactions and the documents circulation in the Due Diligence process. In his speech Andrey gave lots of examples from contract law, including examples of M&A transactions, borrowed financing, and also answered the students’ questions.

Lidings is paying great attention to developing relations with the leading Russian law universities.  In the summer time several most talented students have an opportunity to take an internship at Lidings and after graduating from the university to continue development of their professional skills and experience as full time employees in the firm.
